DSHA Announces Downtown Development Districts Funding Awards
On Wednesday February 13, 2019, Governor Carney and the Delaware State Housing Authority (DSHA) announced that eight new downtown revitalization projects in Milford, Dover and Wilmington will receive $4.6 million in rebate funding through Delaware's Downtown Development Districts (DDD) program. Governor Announces New Round of Downtown Development Districts Designations
Governor Carney has announced the expansion of the Downtown Development Districts Program. Local governments that are interested in participating in this urban revitalization program are invited to create District Plans and complete the application in order to be considered to have a District designated in their communities. The application form, program guidelines booklet and other materials are available here. The deadline for submission of completed applications to the Office of State Planning Coordination is May 15, 2019.
