The most effective land use planning takes place at the local level. Delaware relies on county and municipal governments as the first line of planning. The Office of State Planning Coordination works to make sure that planning efforts at all levels of government are coordinated and integrated with one another and to ensure that all have access to planning-related information. The services offered by the Office are designed to facilitate this planning coordination.
