The Office of State Planning Coordination looks for all opportunities to share planning-related information with the interested public. To that end, the office maintains several communications tools to share information with those interested.
Blogs
- The DGDC News Blog serves as a communications tool within the Delaware GIS Community and with all those interested in the use and sharing of GIS data in Delaware. It includes news items of interest to those working with GIS data and tools.
- DelawareGIS is a twitter feed of quick news updates of interest to GIS professionals, and those interested in GIS, in Delaware.
Calendars
- Delaware Land-Use Planning Meetings is a Google calendar of meetings in and around Delaware that are of interest to those who follow land-use planning issues. This calendar is also part of the Planning-Related Meetings page.
- GIS Conferences is a Google calendar of GIS and GIS-related conferences within the United States.
RSS News Feeds
In addition, the Office of State Planning Coordination offers several RSS News Feeds to help keep interested persons informed about activities of the Office.
- Delaware Planning News is an RSS feed of news headlines related to planning issues in Delaware and focused on the Office of State Planning Coordination.
- Delaware Geospatial News is an RSS of geospatial news for Delaware from the Delaware Geographic Data Committee.
E-Mail Lists
These lists are part of a larger collection of e-mail
lists offered by the state.
- Planning News (SUBSCRIBE) presents a weekly summary of Planning News items and a forcast of planning-related meetings.
- The DGDC List (SUBSCRIBE) is an active e-mail discussion list designed to allow the Delaware GIS Community to share information related to spatial data and the Geographic Information System (GIS) software tools that use that data.
