DELAWARE MUNICIPAL ANNEXATIONS
The Delaware Office of State Planning Coordination maintains a statewide GIS data set of annexations by Delaware municipalities. The data set (completed_annexations.zip) shows annexations that have been accepted as complete according to the Plan of Services review process outlined in 22 Delaware Code '101 and formally adopted by municipalities from calendar year 2004 through the date of publication.
This information is intended to be used as a descriptive planning tool, not as a definitive or legal boundary for any municipal annexation. Legal descriptions of annexed parcels are contained in annexation resolutions or ordinances approved by municipal governments.
