Village of Eastlake, located on Thatcher Street, near Governor Printz Blvd, in Wilmington. The site was once referred to the 'Bucket', because it was the bottom of the bucket. Originally consisted of 267 brick subsidized rental units. Since renovation, there are 70 rental homes, 90 homeownership units & a community center. Village of Eastlake has one numerous awards for design & affordability. These include:

  • Narrow streets

  • Community building

The Village of Eastlake has helped revitalize a deteriorating part of Wilmington, while simultaneously offering affordable housing options.
