2010 CENSUS DATA FOR DELAWARE
The US Census Bureau has begun released 2010 Census count data to Delaware as part of a scheduled data release for use in congressional and state-level redistricting efforts. Data on population, population by voting age, population by race and Hispanic origin, and housing unit counts, is available for Delaware via the Census Bureau's FTP site and the American FactFinder web site.
Below is a collection of data tables, geospatial data, and other tools to access and use the latest data released for Delaware from the 2010 Census. GIS format data sets are presented as shapefiles (except if noted) and are contained in ZIP files. Metadata for the GIS data sets is included in each shapefile dataset collection and is posted on the Delaware Geospatial Data Exchange.
A Microsoft Access DatabaseThe Delaware Census State Data Center has created a Microsoft Access Database of 2010 Redistricting Delaware for Delaware (ZIP). This is based on a database shell published by the US Census Bureau. It includes basic database queries for several levels of geography.
